Privacy policy

ShieldStudio does NOT in any way collect data about you, or send it to any servers. All information stays locally on your phone, and the only way to share it is to create a data URL (meaning a URL that only contains encoded data without pointing to a server) in the application.

Personal data processing

We do not collect ANY personal information or data. If you choose to use personal data in a Shield you create, it will stay on your device. The only exception is if you share it with others through the sharing URL feature. ShieldStudio or its developer receives NO information on servers or through email.

The contact form on our website process the following information:

  • Name (which can be a nickname)
  • Email
  • Any message the reporter chooses to write.

This service is intended for reporting bugs or for other reasons someone may want to contact the developer.

Shields and personal data collection

As users of Apple's Screen Time APIs, we do NOT have direct access to names of applications or websites you choose to limit access to. We only receive tokens as part of the API's privacy preserving scheme.

Third-Parties?

No third-parties are ever contacted. There are no ads, and no way to use the internet directly from the application. ShieldStudio stays locally on your phone, and only does its designated purpose.
